The Savage X roll cage has been designed to hold on to the strength and looks of its predecessor, the Savage. This roll cage has been lowered to take advantage of the new lower profiles of the Savage X. The cage also uses the rear stock body mounts and the upper arm pins are held in by 2 of the cage spacers. As with the original Savage roll cage, this cage is made from lightweight, interlocking, 1/8" 6061 T6 aluminum to form a strong shell around the truck. The cage protects everything on the truck and supports the bodies so they last longer. Good access to radio boxes, pull starters, and filters. Bodies fit with minor modifications. Works with stock bumpers, skid plates, and shock towers. Does not fit prior Savage models or the new Savage XL.
